어려운 여건이지만, 외과의로써 가장 기본은 응급 환자와 중증 환자를 돌보는데 있다는 기본을 잊지 않고 살고자 합니다. 화려한 경력이나 업적보다는 기본에 충실하며 안산병원 외과 구성원 모두가 일에 만족하며 사는 그런 가족 같은 공동체를 만들고 싶습니다.

교육적으로는 부족한 전공의를 대신해 언제나 현역에서 일하는 마음가짐을 유지할 것이며, 외과에 더 많은 관심을 갖도록 실습학생 및 인턴 선생님께 더 많은 관심과 홍보를 하려고 합니다.

대장항문외과 영역에서 만성적인 질환인 변비, 변실금, 골반통 등의 문제를 해결하기 위한 임상 연구 및 기기 개발에 관심이 많으며 이와 관련하여 동물실험, 융합연구 및 임상 연구를 계획하며 진행하고 있습니다.

체계적 고찰 및 Big data 연구에 관심을 갖고 메타분석 논문을 쓰고 있으며, 고려대학교 예방의학 연구소와도 코호트 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 기초 실험으로는 제브라피쉬 모델을 통해 항암제관련 신경독성 연구를 진행하고 있으며 항암제 독성을 해결하여 치료 반응률 향상 및 항암 환자들의 삶의 질 향상에 도움이 되었으면 합니다.

저는 긍정적 삶의 가치관을 가지려고 노력하며 살고 있는 고대안산병원 외과의사입니다.
