Professor Heon-Jeong Lee graduated from Korea University College of Medicine and received his master's and doctoral degrees from Korea University College of Medicine. He also received psychiatric training at Korea University Hospital and acquired the Psychiatric Board in 2000. In 2005, he was appointed as a professor at Korea University Medical College and has been working at Korea University Anam Hospital. His major research areas are bipolar disorder, sleep disorder, circadianrRhythm, and genomics. He is the principal investigator responsible for the early mood disorder cohort (Mood Disorders Cohort Research Consortium: MDCRC) project of the Ministry of Health and Welfare since 2014. We are also performing research on new methods for predicting depression, mania and mood instability using digital phenotype using wearable device and smartphone sensors.
