    연구주제
    주요 연구주제: 알츠하이머병, 퇴행성 뇌질환, 수면, 노화

    노지훈 교수는 신경과 (Neurology) 전문의 및 의사 과학자로 알츠하이머병을 포함한 신경계 퇴행성 뇌질환을 연구하고 있습니다. 동물 모델에서 수면 및 뇌신경활성도와 관련된 알츠하이머병의 아밀로이드 병태생리를 연구하였으며 관련 중개연구를 지속하고 있습니다. 알츠하이머병 연속체 (Alzheimer’s disease continuum) 질환군에서 아밀로이드 및 타우 PET를 포함한 뇌영상 분석 연구 및 혈액기반 바이오마커 연구를 진행하였으며 상염색체우성 알츠하이머병 국제 공동연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 이외 노화 조절을 통한 퇴행성 뇌질환 연구를 진행중에 있습니다.

    Dr. Jee Hoon Roh is a trained neurologist and has worked on basic and translational research in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and neurodegenerative disorders. Dr. Roh has published several leading papers on how sleep or brain neuronal activities affect the amyloid beta metabolism in the brain with Dr. David M. Holtzman at Washington University. He has now extended the findings in humans using in vivo pathology PET images and sleep monitoring. Dr. Roh also pioneered in blood-based biomarkers of AD in collaboration with several leading groups in the field. Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer Network (DIAN)-Korea and senescence-associated research are among the major works that Dr. Roh is actively engaged in.
